Access to Health Resources
  • Provide families with information, referrals, and resources for health services.

  • Work with families concerning enrollment in CHP+, Medicaid, school insurance,
    private insurance, and other programs that pay for health care .

  • Provide health education to families on topics such as immunizations, child health, child development, healthy behaviors, health maintenance, health risks, and/or palliative and end-of-life care.

Cooking Matters
  • Participants learn how to select nutritious and low cost ingredients and prepare them in ways that provide the best nourishment possible to the ir familie s. This class runs for 6 weeks.
Community Garden
  • Teaching people the importance of proper nutrition. The Community Garden also include free classes on getting a garden started, learning the best times to plant crops, food preservation and canning, how to weed and control pests, and how to determine if a crop
