of childcare and preschool programs given should be considered referrals
only, not recommendations. We cannot warrant accuracy of program information,
nor can we assure the quality of any childcare or preschool program referred
in this process. Childcare providers have the opportunity to participate
in a Qualistar Rating. The Qualistar Rating is an observation of the childcare
provider at their facility over multiple days during a two month period.
The Qualistar Rating is only a snapshot of the program’s quality
and cannot assure the longer term quality or effectiveness of the program.
In addition, the quality of a program may change, depending on organizational
trends, changes in management and staff, availability of resources and
other factors. The Qualistar Rating is provided to help parents and others
identify individual programs that have successfully achieved a rating
of from one (1) to four (4) stars from Qualistar Early Learning. It is
intended only as a guide for families in selecting childcare and preschool
programs, and should not be used as a substitute for seeking licensing
information, visiting the program and obtaining recommendations from family
and friends. This information is available for personal and non-commercial
