Keeping Kids Safe and Families Together

Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF)) is a family support program designed to assist families in finding the resources for self-sufficiency. The project works directly
with families through the use of Family Advocates or Kinship Navigators who help families identify strengths that can be used along with resources to ensure family safety.

Kinship Navigators are available for grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to help kinship families navigate resources that may be available similar to family advocates.

Family Advocates can :

  • assist with applications to obtain different types of services
  • find resources that you may not be aware of and may qualify for
  • help you become more safe and stable
